I started out as a Lead Guitarist in local bands in the mid to late 80's and it wasn't until 1996 that I became a Singer. I started writing my own songs and took over vocals in an Indie Rock combo I was in and things progressed from there. I spent some years fronting my own Rock combos until 1997/98 then after life in bands, I continued to write and record my own material, using my DAW of Cakewalk from 2004/5 or so, recording a lot of cover versions too.  I continue to record and have mentored/recorded up and coming Singer-Songwriters & Vocalists. I have been singing since 1996.  Vocally, I have a Blues/Soul tone and easily sits on Blues Rock, Southern Soul etc

Vocal influences differ from my guitar influences. From Buddy Holly/The Crickets, The Everly Brothers, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Bobby Vee, Billy Fury, Eddie Cochran, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, Lonnie Johnson, The Beach Boys to Squeeze, Paul Carrack, Francis Dunnery/It Bites, Prefab Sprout, ELO/Jeff Lynne, Jim Morrison (The Doors), Manic Street Preachers, Blues/Soul, Vocal Harmony groups and many more.
